Day 1 Arrive in the Land of the Bible
Soon after arrival, you will be on your way to the unforgettable Sea of Galilee. Overnight at your hotel in Tiberias.
Day 2 Around the Sea of Galilee - Upper Galilee (Ceasarea Philippi) - Jordan River

Breakfast at the hotel. At Tabgha, Jesus challenged his disciples to feed a crowd of 5000 in the Multiplication of Loaves and Fishes. Visit the Church of Primacy, and the Mount of the Beatitudes, where Jesus offered His ‘Sermon on the Mount’. Drive north to explore the upper regions of Israel to the foot of Mount Hermon. Stop at Tel Dan, important in Biblical times. Travel to the magnificent waterfalls of Banyas (Caesarea Philippi), where Jesus called Peter “the Rock” and promised him the keys of the Kingdom. At the River Jordan, there will be opportunities for baptisms and renewals of vows. Overnight in Tiberias.

Day 3  Cana - Nazareth - Megiddo - Mt. Tabor - Breakfast at the hotel

Drive to Cana where Jesus performed the first of His miracles. Continue to Nazareth. Visit Joseph’s workshop, Mary’s well, and the Church of the Old Synagogue, which marks the beginning of Jesus’ public ministry. Drive along the Jezreel Valley to Tel Megiddo. See the little village of Naim, where Jesus raised the son of the poor widow from the dead. Then, take a minivan the top of Mt. Tabor. Visit the site of the Transfiguration. Overnight in Tiberias.

Day 4 Samaria/Jericho/ Jerusalem

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Samaria. Travel along the Jordan Valley by Jericho, the oldest continuously inhabited city in the World. Continue to Jerusalem for overnight.

Day 5

Old City, Via Dolorosa

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to the Old City. Go by the Upper Room, site of the Last Supper and descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles; and Dormition Abbey, built to honor the Assumption of Mary. See Western Wall of the Temple Mount, the El Aksa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock. Visit the Herodian Estates. Strolling down the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Drive to the Mount of Olives. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 6 Wilderness of Judea-Massada/Dead Sea/Qumran

Breakfast at the hotel. Go out of Jerusalem to the wilderness of Judea. Take a cable car ride to the ruins of Herod’s palace-fortress atop Massada. Visit the ruins of the fortifications, reservoirs for water, Herodian palaces, synagogue, Roman temples and baths. Swim in the Dead Sea. Visit Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found in 1947. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 7 New City - Ein Karem/Jerusalem Model/Israel Museum  - Bethlehem / Shepherd’s Field

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Ein Karem, home of Elizabeth. Proceed to Yad Vashem, memorial to the Holocaust. Visit the Israel Museum. Visit the traditional birthplace of Jesus. Overnight in Jerusalem. 

Day 8 Departure
Transfer to the airport for your flight.
