Meet our tour guide: Zak Greenwald
Hello, it is nice to meet you! My name is Zak, and it is an honor for me to be your guide in Israel. I was born and raised in Long Beach, California, and made aliyah to Israel 10 years ago. Now I live in the beautiful city of Haifa, in the north of Israel.
I’m excited to share with you the country where I chose to make my home, the country I love very much for its amazing people, fascinating history, beautiful nature, unique sites, unbelievable flavors and once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
I am an enthusiastic life-long learner and educator. In the 10 years since I made aliyah, I have dedicated myself to creating powerful and honest connections between the individual or group and the Land of Israel, fostering deep, personal relationships with its rich history, encouraging curiosity about its present and instilling a sense of responsibility toward its future.
It is not my role (or style) to lecture to you — no one likes that, least of all me! I enjoy a lively and honest conversation among friends. I encourage you to ask questions, and I hope our experience together will spark your curiosity and help you to make your own connections and reach your own conclusions about this fascinating and complex country. And along the way, I look forward to sharing in many laughs and insights while creating memories that I hope will last a lifetime.
I am so lucky to be able to discover Israel again and again, every day, through the eyes of visitors to this country. I look forward to meeting and embarking on this adventure together!
